They generally send you a form letter back when you only write.
nbsp; Thanks. Mine then told me to write a letter to them
requesting assistance.

From what you wrote, there is a good possibility of getting things moving if we write to the Congressman. i have few friends who tried to write or email and seemed they didnt get any quick responses.????
In your case, its something you must defenitely do.CALL your representative and ask for their
Immigration Liaison.

you can mention your situation, and of course your case number so she/he can track it down for you.She had gone there the day before and the
embassy employees had laughed at her when she asked to have that done.
Fun:

Have you tried contacting VSC?If so, what do they tell you?Did you receive an RFE (requesting further info)? Also what state do you live in, because I live in New York and my Senators office (H.They said they would only respond by mail.

What should I include?

Are their any suggestions?

Has anybody sent a letter to the Congressman?

Do they work?

I would appreciate any assistance.

Hi All!

What I would do is call the congressman or senator's office and ask to speak
with the immigration liaison. The good news is I was approved 2 weeks after contacting them!!!See my timeline below.

Is it better to send the letter by fax and by post or just by post?
Don't bother writing a letter.
nbsp; After waiting 4 months to hear anything from VSC for the Fiancee Visa, I
nbsp;have finally decided to write a letter to the Congressman. My K-1
petition had expired and the INS at the Detroit airport (April 2002) were
sending people back that were trying to enter with expired petitions, even
though the visa was valid. They can tell you what to include in the letter.

We have heard nothing since our First Notification in October. The liaison contacted the Manila embassy and
they allowed my then fiancé to return to the embassy to have the consular
office revalidate the petition.I called their office and they said that I should put it in writing. Please email me back with any info that will be
helpful. You
have to call.

help.

Thanks.

INS they say 90 to 120 days, they lie so much it's hard to believe anything
they say? Any help?
